‘Proper words in proper places’ (Jonathan Swift)
I came to editing after a journey through many other professions (including public relations) and business enterprises, and helping friends and relatives with their writing projects. Not to be tied down, I undertook a triple major for my BA: Sociology, Education and German.
My background has provided me with a broad knowledge of many ‘things’ – and this is of great benefit when helping others with their writing projects.
Editing is ‘home’ for me: I love the written word and I love to learn. Editing provides me with many words and a wide range of learning experiences! When writing in English, the golden rule is ‘keep it simple’.
